Green hop season is here, and The Shirker's Rest is celebrating it properly. Next weekend - 16th to 18th October - they celebrating the Green Hop Festival, pouring fresh hop beers from five brilliant breweries: @elusivebrew @bexleybrewery @lakedownbrewingco @threeacrebrewery and @wantsumbrewery Green hops are picked and used immediately, before drying. The window is tiny, the beers don’t hang around, and they taste like nothing else.
